For a Ferry Boat trip, take the boat from Truro to Falmouth and make it a round trip. While at Falmouth you can also catch another ferry across to St Mawes.Mevagissy Harbour, Cornwall
At Padstow the ferry goes across to Rock, then you could walk around the coastal path to Polzeath – the views are sensational. Look out for the tiny church where Sir John Betjeman is buried at St Enodoc Church at Trebetherick. If the tide is out you can take a stroll back along the beautiful white sandy beaches.
The King Harry Ferry just the other side of Truro at Feock is a vehicular ferry that crosses the River Fal and takes you to the Roseland Peninsula. Here you can visit the Tregothnan Estate which owns the once famous Smugglers Inn. Carry on through Veryan and you will see the round houses in the village.
Keep driving up to Gorran Haven then on to Mevagissey and you could travel back via a different route through St Austell and take the B3058 back to Summercourt.
