Walking along the coast or inland.
At Tintagel enjoy the rugged cliffs and lanes in a 5 mile circular walk.
Take to the moors at Bodmin, where there is the Copper Trail which runs for several miles where you would come across disused mines and ancient land marks.
Another place is Colliford Lake where some like to relax and do fly fishing.
While in the area you could go and see the famous Jamaica Inn. Stannon Moor has a walk where you would encounter stone circles and a burial chamber.
If you prefer the coast, walk from Pentire Steps through to Bedruthen Steps towards Mawgan Porth.
